I was completely surprised to see my photo featured on the official website of the second Science Symposium.
In 2023, Harvard Medical School and the Osher Center for Integrative Health hosted a highly successful science symposium. They brought together top-tier scientists who presented cutting-edge research demonstrating that, in side-by-side studies, Tai Chi and Qigong offer more comprehensive health benefits than traditional stretching, walking, and other exercise routines. The research also revealed how these practices influence the human body at the molecular level. With so many promising areas yet to be explored, Harvard has decided to host a second symposium to continue the conversation and deepen the inquiry.
As a journalist specializing in the healing arts for the past 16 years, with over 800 published articles, I truly appreciate Harvard’s commitment to advancing this field of research especially focusing the truth science of Tai Chi and Qigong as Whole Person Health. Tai Chi/Qigong does not just improve people's health in one area but it impacts the practitioners physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually all at once.
In the coming months, I will be collaborating with them and contributing in the way I know best—by uncovering the most compelling stories and sharing them with our global community.
If you have any suggestions for me or the upcoming conference, I would love to hear them.
That’s great Ms. Violet!
